Description: Floor plans, elevations, sketches Roc's Comments: I love Maude March. When she and John asked me to design their home I was delighted to do it. Their family and John's legal career were young and it was difficult to satisfy all of John's requirements. I don't think I succeeded as, once it was done, I never heard from John again. I still love Maude March.

Description: Sketches, floor plans, elevations Roc Comments: An addition for daughter of Josephine Ingle who we did a guest house for years earlier. Nice couple who did a very respectful expansion on this house that we originally designed for Ira Levy and Stan Gurell.
Description: Site plan, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, mechanical Roc's Comments: This project was an addition on a garage! The Ingles found that they had zoning permission to add a substantial addition to their garage. They wanted a sturdy home that would house their grown children and guests. We worked hard to create an attractive structure that looked like it had always been there. I think we succeeded. The living room in this house is really pleasant. John Gordon was the excellent project manager on this one and the building looks it. [show more]
Description: Sections, floor plan, elevations Roc's Comments: Finley and Joanie Matheson had a sweet piece of land in Seal Harbor behind the wonderful Grosvenor Atterbury church. When Finley asked me to design a new home for them I unfortunately had more work than we could handle and did not want to agree to something we could not due and recommended some fellows in Blue Hill. When their project was complete I did have time to design a small garden cottage for Joanie. This was after those wonderful little "nap houses" scattered thru the hills built by large summer families that wanted a quiet respite from the summer frenzy. Joanie loved it. [show more]
