Description: Wooden box. Varnished. Hinged. Opens to compartments and writing surface which is covered in black fabric. Probably velvet. Estelle Morrison(1874-1967) (donor source) on burial records of Brookside Cemetery. Wife of Mark C Morrison (1864-1948) also buried in Brookside Cemetery. Other information not known about object or family.
Description: Heavy box with key lock. Top worn. There are two compartments, one underneath the lid and three smaller compartments in front. Brass lock. Joints nailed. Raw wood inside. This belonged to A.C. Fernald, born 1819 died 1896. Bottle for ink is in front compartment.
