Thirteen archival boxes of Leslie Victor Stanley's genealogical research into the extended Stanley family, and other valuable information on Cranberry Isles people, houses, vessels, boats, events, receipts, ledger entries, marriages, cemeteries, probates, will, births, and deaths that he compiled over decades, with research contributions by Ralph Stanley and William Otis Sawtelle. One folder of Box 8 pertaining to GCI houses has been scanned and saved as jpg and pdf. Box 19 folder 8 has information on 28 Sutton Island houses 1806-1906. Each box has a list of folders and contents. Families mentioned in this collection include: Bunker, Spurling, Hadlock, Stanley, Standley, Gilley, Bulger, Guptill, Hamor, Richardson, and Workman. (Note: This accession of 13 boxes presently catalogued under this number may eventually be combined with a prior accession of Ralph Stanley papers (2014.291.2046) as topics and materials may be related or duplicated.)
