Dressed in knit undershirt, knit socks, linen underdress, knee length bloomers, knee length white dress with red buds overall. Lace in mid-bodice and neck. Short sleeves. Doll in case with glass fronts and sides. Small china doll with braids wrapped around head. Blue eyes. White and blue dress with gold on sleeves. Cotton apron with yellow embroidery. Gift of donor by the children of Philadelphia in 1919. Named Maria Giulia in honor of Mrs. Girolamo Vitelli of NE Harbor. Case made by Lester Hartford. Costume - long white striped dress, pink sateen slip, white muslin petticoat, matching chemise, both lace edged. Body stuffed with wood shavings. Donor info - belonged to sister (Agnes) of donor.

Pink ribbon painted around china leg. Dressed in mid-calf length dress of brown with white sprigs of flowers and triangles. Orange ribbon tied at waist. Pink ribbon at neck Wide lace collar. Oilcloth doll with white bonnet and dress, yellow painted hair and blue eyes. "Chase Doll” made by Mrs. Chase (from Rhode Island) as play dolls - successful career through Boston store, and later used by nurses in training. At the turn of the century these were sold undressed, or for a dollar more - fully dressed. *The dress may be a christening gown that was donated separately; it has no accession or object number.
