He died on December 9, 1941 two days after Pearl Harbor. He lived in what is now Louise Stranberg's house on Cranberry Rd. This building was originally used as a restaurant where the guest would eat upstairs and the food was prepared downstairs and brought up by a dumbwaiter. After the closing of the Inn the building was then used as a workshop.
