Bayview Farm owned and operated by Jim Crosby in modern times "The Red House" owned by Judi Towns Lim and Chong Lim, a.k.a. the Towns house. James C. Crosby and Cora Almeda (Pressey) Crosby are the couple in the tintype. Their son, Clarence, is shown in the photo with the barn. (B) and (D) may be the same vessel, probably one of the mackerel schooners owned by Benjamin Harley Spurling whose wife was Frances Almira Preble (donor Louise Marr's grandparents.) C: The steamer may have been one owned by Hanson B. Joyce of Swan's Island engaged in the mackerel fishery.
