Description:
Embroidered picture of the Rev. John Roger’s tomb under a willow tree in a dark wood frame with a gold border. Inscription of headstone reads, “ Died Oct 6th, 1782. Rev. John Rogers he is not dead but sleepeth”. Sewn by Sally Trask. On the back of the frame, “Given to me by my mother as a wedding present CFM”. See object file for more information. 1860

Description:
Tea pot sits on four legs resembling paws. Top red/pink flowers on each side. Spout (broken) has red/pink feathers on each side. Sides of tea pot have five green round flowers and leaves at top and three yellow flowers on each side. Ladder pattern extending from middle. Marked 581 on bottom. Said to be Caulport. Donor info - belonged to Mrs. Lucie Allen Somes. Brought over from Ireland. Over 100 years old at time of gift.
