Description: Fair. These fairgrounds stood where the older shopping center on High Street in Ellsworth. The grandstand was replaced by an army depot in World War I.

Description: The original Northeast Harbor Library building was designed by Fred L. Savage. Chairman was Mr. Louis McLane. The library was seasonal until replaced in 1951.

Description: A scan of photograph of sign at site of demolished old library indicating location of transition library at Neighborhood House. The sign was removed within minutes because it did not conform to town regulations.
