The photograph was taken by unknown summer visitors and carefully preserved in an album. They were probably standing on Main Street. It is not visible from Main Street now, but the Congregational Church at 29 High Road is clearly visible in the background. Addition circa 1900 by Fred Savage - arched windows in dormer. 1930's L. Keyes owner. 1986 owner: estate of Mrs. Henry Platt. Other owners: Pierrepont, Kirkland.
