Description: This is a 7 and 1/2 by 10 inch ledger or record book entitled, Somesville C.E. Society. Judging by the dates in the other ledgers, it is probably 1895. This entry relates the efforts of the young people of Somesville, along with the Pastor and wife, to organize a 'young Peoples Society of Christian Endeavor'. The secretary signed as Blanche Somes. The rest of the pages are notes or minutes for this group from 1895-1913 with the last entry written by Katherine Fernald. [show more]
