Description: From back text: The exhibit will showcase one piece from each collector alongside text explaining the piece's origin and why it is a favorite. These pieces may range from a favorite painting, to sculpture, to coins, to family heirlooms. The story accompanying the artwork will be just as important as the piece itself. The text should explain why the item is one of your favorites--thus enabling the viewer to understand how the artwork came to be a part of the collection. A Few of My Favorite Things 2011 is currently scheduled for the month of August 2011 in the Ethel H. Blum Gallery. Drop off of artwork will take place Tuesday and Wednesday, August 2 and 3, with an opening reception on Thursday, August 4, 2011. The show will run through Saturday, August 20.
