Description:
8 X 10 black and white photograph of two newly hatched birds on sand in middle on frame. One and a half spotted eggs to the right of the birds. Dark straw on left hand side of the photo. Birds have dark stripes on back and are facing in toward one other, but look just past the other bird. Writing on back, “Young Oyster-Catchers, Cape Island, S.C. 5/3/40. April 1962, Frontiers. This picture is furnished on a loan basis for 90 days and must be returned to the U. S. Fish and Wild life Service.
