Description: Settee with wood arms and cushioned back and seat. Cushion has light floral upholstery. Back piece has wood framing which has a gold-leaf design dividing the cushion. Legs of settee have small wheels.
Description: Mustard colored brocade back and seat with floral pattern. Wooden framing and spindle construction supporting arms which curve out slightly.
Description: Oil lamp with metal base, brass stand and pressed glass globe with fanlike motif in poor condition. Globe was cracked and repaired in several places.
Description: Light fixture. Glass globe from donor's kitchen ceiling light with connections and cap. White glass with two blue lines and pale blue band between them; brass base is painted beige.
Description: Rug. Hooked, yarn and jersey material, with note "...made by Eliza Stanley." White waterbird with yellow bill wading with cattails, mountains, and butterfly in background; brown border. Faded, torn, worn, repaired at some earlier time. Eliza Stanley b. 1888 and d. 1967. (Donor bought Eliza and Pink Stanley's house 1970.)
Description: Four ship's lights repurposed as wall sconces in the alcove of the main room in the Fleet House. These are identical to a pair of lights used as ceiling fixtures inside the north door. Two of these lights are painted blue, and two are painted red. When facing the windows, the red lights are closer to the viewer, and the blue lights are closer to the exterior (northern) wall. These lights are accessioned in a clockwise order starting on the left, with the red light (2022X.02.043.A). The blue light at the northwest corner of the alcove is 2022X.02.043.B, the blue light at the northeast corner of the alcove is 2022X.02.043.C, and the right light at the right is 2022X.02.043.D [show more]
Description: A pair of ship's lights, one painted red and the other painted blue, repurposed as ceiling lights inside the north door of the Fleet House. The red light is accession 2022X.02.035.A, and the blue light is 2022X.02.035.B Similar lights are installed under the cabinets in the alcove
Description: A wood and metal ladder that appears to be repurposed from a ship. It is now hung in the Fleet House and gives access to the loft on the north side of the building.
