Description: This appears to be a receipt showing that B. H. Higgins was paid the amount of $137.50, a quarterly salary, for the his services as the keeper of the Saddleback Ledge Lighthouse. The dates paid through are from Sept 1st, 1858 to December 31st, 1858.

Description: Long wood handle with long iron rod attached to end. Triangular blade at end of rod. Marked, “M.F. Norcross”. According to Skip Brack at the Liberty Tool Museum, this tool was used by a cobbler to clip the excess from wooden pegs in shoes. He also said the name Norcross referred to the owner, not the maker.
Description: Album Quilt created by members (men and women) of The Federated Church Society of the Union Church of Northeast Harbor in 1900. Presented to the church in 2000 by Connie Seavey. This Object Id # also includes a framed list of all of the signers of the quilt and a short explanation of the provenance and history of the quilt and the ownership of it.

Mary Ann and Leonard were married in 1837. Emma Amelia married Melville Leighton Allen. Leonard Elrie Holmes married Mary Ellen Rosebrook.
