Framed plaque with ribbon and award, and engraved notice. At the top, a red, white, and blue ribbon holds a circular award with "United States Yacht Racing Union Championship" written on the outer edge. In the center of the award is an abstract view of a sailboat and eagle. At the bottom an engraved plaque reads: To The Northeast Harbor Fleet In Appreciation for Hosting the 1991 U.S.R.Y.U. Championship of Champions

Bronze plaque from first flagpole erected at Rock End Dock site of Northeast Harbor Fleet. The plaque is mounted on a half-round piece of wood, and affixed to the wall. Plaque reads: This memorial masters given to the Northeast Harbor Fleet by Devoted Friends & Sailing Comrades of Vance C. McCormick to Perpetuate in our Community His Sportsmanship and Generous Spirit August Thirtieth 1947

Oval plaque commemorating the 1981 visit of the New York Yacht Club Squadron. Plaque appears to be mahogany with painted decoration and varnish. Painted decoration shows the burgees of the of the New York Yacht Club (on the right) and the Northeast Harbor Fleet (on the left). This 7 and 1/2 by 10 inch molded plaque was given to the MDI Historical Society by Candy Emlen of the Southwest Harbor Library because of its connection with Howe Higgins. The Society received this article sometime in 2007. On the back is a typewritten explanation with the background of the '"sculptured lion," the "Lion of Lucerne."
