Cambridge. Edith, Mrs. Ellis & H. E. Somes. Sat. P.MN. at the Museum with Mr. K. , Edi & I" (?) A button is attached to another page of paper with this note: " Button from "Longfellows chair' made from 'the spreading chestnut tree' of which he speaks of in his poem 'the village blacksmith' and presented him by the children.
