Description: Celebrated landscape architect, Beatrix Farrand commissioned a watercolor artist (unknown) to produce scenes of downtown Bar Harbor with her recommendations to the Village Improvement Association for beautifying the downtown with trellises, window boxes, plants, and flowers.
